Join us in volunteering at the race! 

Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering for the Cupcake Color Run!

As our largest fundraising event of the year, it takes many hands to pull off a successful event! This is also a super fun way to support this race and remember - the proceeds go to help our Bayside/Stormonth staff and student community.

Volunteer options include helping set up the morning of the race (calling all you early birds!), manning registration tables, selling raffle tickets, being a part of race logistics, assisting with post-race activities, and much more!

A few key Q&A's on volunteering for the race:

Can I still run the race if I volunteer?

For sure! You can sign up for any volunteer slot. Just note in the comments section that you plan on running the race and we will give you a volunteer position that won't conflict. 

I want to volunteer but I can't be available for the full time slot requested. What should I do?

If your available volunteer timeframe is shorter than the requested window on the Signup Genius, then please make notes in the comment area when you sign up. We will accommodate your assigned responsibility based on your availability.

My high schooler or college student is in need of volunteer hours for a club or honors society. Can they volunteer and get credit?

Of course! Just have them bring any form of documentation they need signed with them the day of the event and our volunteer coordinator will make sure to sign off that they completed those hours. 

I want to volunteer but all the slots on the Signup Genius are full. Is there any way I can still help out? 

We would never turn away any help. After all, many hands makes light work. We can always use extra volunteers in the peak event time from 7:30am - 11:30am. Just email us and we will add you to our volunteer list.
