In the Fox Point Bayside School District, we're privileged to have an exceptional team of educators, staff, and administrators who go above and beyond to nurture, inspire, and care for our children and their learning environment. Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is our chance to express our gratitude and support for their tireless dedication.

This year, Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week will take place from April 29th to May 3rd at Stormonth Elementary School, Bayside Middle School, and throughout the district. We're kicking off our recognition earlier than the national week to accommodate the unique end of the school year schedule.

But to make this year's recognition truly special, we need your help! The PTO and a dedicated committee of parents are planning to organize special meals, snacks, and gifts for every single teacher and staff member. Your contributions, whether monetary or in the form of gift cards or other items, will make a significant impact.

Our goal for giving this year is $8,000! Your support will enable us to show our appreciation in meaningful ways. You can donate by clicking HERE. Additionally, if you have non-monetary gifts such as gift cards, services, experiences, or other physical items, we'd love to hear from you. We're committed to supporting local businesses while showing our appreciation!

As the event approaches, we'll share the specific plans for this year. In the meantime, here's a recap of some of the fantastic activities the committee organized during the 2023 Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week:

• Stocked Staff Lounges with special snacks and drinks, adorned with fresh plants, signs, and balloons.
• Conducted a Gift Card Giveaway, ensuring every staff member received a token of appreciation through daily raffles.
• Engaged parents and children in writing messages of gratitude on school entrances and playgrounds with "Chalk it Up" activities.
• Hosted two special lunches and breakfasts for staff at both schools.
• Organized daily activities involving families and children in recognizing our amazing staff!
