Volunteer Interest Form

Are you interested in joining our amazing team in supporting our Students and Teachers?

We have many volunteer rolls available throughout the year. From Board positions, Committee positions, to Day of Event volunteers, everyone is welcome to help us make every event as successful as possible.

 

Please use this form to indicate the level of volunteering you would like to participate in, and also what types of events interest you. Please contact us with any questions you may have at: ptoteam@foxbaypto.org.

 

Current 2025-2026 Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Teacher Appreciation Lead(s) - Monthly
    • Seeking parent volunteers for each monthly teacher appreciation 'moment', which helps us show gratitude to our teachers throughout the year (instead of just during the dedicated week in May) 
    • Tasks may include coordinating a catering order and delivery or communicating with room reps for classroom based requests.
    • Time commitment = 4-6 hours over a month
  • Spring Book Fair Shift Volunteers - Bayside (3/11-12), Stormonth (5/27-28)
    • Seeking parents to help with set up, shifts during sale hours, etc for the book fairs this spring.
  • Kids Night Out (3/13) & Bayside Activity Night (4/10 & 5/15) - Event Day Volunteers
    • Seeking parents who want to join the organizing committees for these evening nights out where kids are dropped off for some after hours fun, and hopefully help run an event in 2026-27.
    • Also need day of support and prep volunteers
    • Time commitment = 6-8 hours for prep and day of event support
  • Community Event Lead - First Stage "Frozen" (4/17)
    • Support coordination and promotion of community event on April 17
    • Time commitment = 2-4 hours per month for coordinating, writing copy to promote event, etc.
  • Cupcake Fun Run Event (6/6) - Planning Committee Members
    • Seeking parents who want to join the organizing committee for 2026, and hopefully stay on to help lead again in 2027.
    • Also need day of support and prep volunteers
    • Time commitment = 1-3 hours/week from March-Event Day, and day of event support

  • Bike To School Day Event Lead(s) - Bayside & Stormonth, October 2026
  • Board Position: VP School Services

Board Member

Board Members shape how the year will look for our fundraising and programing. Time commitment ranges, but does include at least one hour meeting per month.


Event Committee Member

Event Committee Members work on everything for specific events to make them run smoothly to create great events for our Students and Teachers. Time commitment varies by event.


Day of Event Volunteer

Day of Event volunteers help with making the event run smoothly during the event. Time commitment is limited to the event itself. We will reach out for volunteer needs to all interested for large events, and grade specific for events such as BAN and Kids Night Out. This could be setup of event, during the event, or take down.
