What Is Kindness Counts?
Kindness Counts is a peer-to-peer fundraiser where students ask family and friends to consider making a donation to the PTO for the benefit of our two schools. Unlike past fundraisers where we’ve partnered with companies to sell pizzas, tchotchkes and candy, this fundraiser sells nothing - we just ask the kids to pay donations forward through acts of service in their community. Any donation amount is appreciated, of course, but most importantly, no act of kindness is too small. Each act a student takes is an opportunity to live the values our families, schools and communities have instilled in them.
 
We’ll track each grade's and student’s acts of service and fundraising tally on an online portal. At the end of the fundraiser, we’ll celebrate the results and congratulate those participants who had the most acts of service- and funds raised - in both the individual and grade categories.
 
We’re utilizing a software partner named RaiseCraze to deploy the tracking capability. More information about the vendor can be found here: www.raisecraze.com
